True or false: Men with long ring fingers are less likely to have heart attacks.

Here’s something to mull over as you search cardiologist near me. According to researchers at the British Journal of Cardiology, men with ring fingers that are the same length or only slightly longer than their index fingers have a higher risk of heart attacks in their thirties and forties. Men whose ring fingers were much longer than their index fingers had a decreased risk of heart attacks and were less susceptible to heart issues. The reason? Testosterone is responsible for lengthening fingers, a hormone that is also vital in protecting against heart disease. Size also matters when it comes to the heart itself. Researchers have found that the bigger the heart a person has, the slower their heart rate will be. The heart of a blue whale is comparable to the size of a compact car, yet it only beats a meager six times per minute.

Hi my fiance had heart valve surgery on July 11,2013.. and had his heart valve replaced with a pig valve and got a pace maker. I believe he told me he needs to get a check up, and is needing replacement of either the valve or the pace maker. Unfortunately he is uninsured. But luckily, I’m disabled and will be receiving some back pay in August and can make payments at that time. I just know that he hasn’t been checked since this happened like 7 years ago. I think he may have mentioned that he just needs to hook up the pace maker and it’s a fee of around $60. Please please get back with me I sure appreciate it again my name is Kelly Bray
